<description>moss - modular sound system avec David Letellier
Rapidly changing lifestyles and environmental issues require new design concepts. In order to overcome the fast obsolescence of electronic products, modern technological design should be able to answer ever-changing demands, and adapt itself for different uses at different time. Our aim is to involve the user in the design process and give the ability to create personalized, original or derivative configurations.
Infinite possibilities can be built, adapted to every type of interiors, to each room of the house : An omnidirectional loudspeaker, a wall sound sculpture, a pair of wireless multimedia stereo loudspeakers are just a few examples.

<description>installation with Anne Dérian and David Letellier

secret is a temporary installation designed for a urban space or a garden ; it allows people to listen to the secrets that other person left there, and to store their own secrets. The secrets are first recorded by an answering machine on a special number : An unspeakable memory, a shameful passion, an unspoken youth love, a weird habit…When the secrets have been collected, they can be diffused by a « forest » of audio speakers spread randomly on the site. The audio system is designed to be fully autonomous; it is based on a stainless steel stick shaped to include small loudspeakers, a basic mp3 player, and a small photovoltaic panel at the top.

secret is meant to cause a reflexion on intimacy in the context of a contemporary society that tends to dissolve the border between private and public life.
As massive systems and networks are being develloped to ensure the tracking of individuals and the storage of their personal datas, as tabloids and reality shows are constantly turning people into observers of the private life of celebrities and anonymous people, this installation is a surrealist « sound garden », a poetic cemetery for the small and big secrets of unknown people.

<description>tsar is a steel coffee table.

Tsar is a daily use coffee table. The idea is to create an original structure, based on a narrative form, and completely rational. Since the initial design, the main issue is to keep the base as narrow as possible, increasing stability. The shape has been turned into a parametric sketch, which defines the relationship between the different branches. The table becomes an equation, inspired by an organic form. Structure engineering studies showed that the load over the top was a key to stability. The load has been increased by changing the top material from wood into steel. The final design sees the whole table cut in a single 4mm steel sheet, which also increases the simplicity of the table. A dinner table is currently under development, based on the same research system.
